Data Deletion
Last updated October 12, 2026
This is a draft under legal review and may change. Questions: support@collabs.so.
How to request deletion
You can ask us to delete the personal information Collabs holds about you, including information we received from Facebook, Instagram or Shopify.
- Email support@collabs.so with the subject “Data deletion request”, from the email address on your Collabs account. If you don’t have an account, tell us the email, Facebook or Instagram name, or store you used to connect with Collabs.
- Account holders can also close their account in the Service, which starts the same deletion.
- Brands can disconnect Meta in Collabs, or remove Collabs under Business Integrations in Facebook settings. Uninstalling our Shopify app removes store access and starts deletion of store data.
What happens next
- We confirm the request within 5 business days, and may ask you to verify your identity.
- We delete your information from our systems within 30 days, and from backups within a further 30 days.
- We email you a confirmation when deletion is complete.
What we may keep
We may keep limited records where the law requires it or to settle amounts owed, such as accepted campaign terms, tax records, and the attribution records behind credits and commissions. These are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
Videos a Brand has already approved and published, or sent to Meta, are controlled by that Brand and Meta under the Creator Agreement. Contact the Brand to have them removed.
If you are a shopper
If you bought from a Brand that uses Collabs, contact that Brand to delete your order information. When the Brand or Shopify asks us to delete it, we do so.
